OUR SUPPORTED
PROJECTS
OVERVIEW
The focus is on sensor technology as well as basic questions on UAS (unmanned air systems), navigation and organization of mine detection.
It is an interdisciplinary challenge to use UAV (unmanned air vehicles) for the detection of mines, duds and similar weapon systems in such a way that they are 100% safe in any environment, on every surface and in all standard sprung sets.
Therefore, the Urs Endress Foundation specifically supports projects that lead to this goal systematically and works together with partners at home and abroad to ensure that our world can become mine-free.

THE PROJECTS
The starting point was a first feasibility study with the project name FindMine, which has been created to investigate the basic, technological feasibility of civilian mine detection from the air.
After their successful completion, various subprojects were launched in the analyzed fields of action and are being pursued steadily.
